Dear friends,

Each year, thousands of refugees are granted entry by the U.S. government. Forced to flee conflict and persecution, often at a moment’s notice, many have survived against incredible odds for years in temporary settlements or camps. They step off the plane into an unfamiliar country and unknown future, having traveled thousands of miles with next to nothing but the clothes on their back, dignity, hope and determination.

I am asking you to join with me and donate to the IRC Dallas regional office to support refugees families rebuiling their lives here in North Texas.  I have been working at IRC for the last year and have gotten to witness firsthand the profound impact they have on the lives of refugees. 

I have a goal of raising $250 for this worthy cause.  I hope I can count on your support.  Together we can give the gift of home.
