As many of you know, Joe and I walk dogs awaiting forever homes at the Animal Rescue League. We have personally witnessed so many wonderful dogs get adopted into loving homes. Robbi adopted his Hannah from a rescue facility. She had a rough start to her life, but Robbi changed that for her. They share a very special bond. Robbi gives her exercise, discipline, love, and the stability of his consistency, which has been beneficial to both of them. She is now comfortable and enjoying her home as well as all the attention she gets. With some work, she has blended nicely into our family and we love her. She is a very lucky dog! We want to help the other not-so-lucky Hannah's out there to find their forever homes. This fundraiser is the organization's major annual appeal and we hope you will join us in supporting this great cause.

Joe and I, along with Godiva and Miller, will be walking from 11am to 12noon, then manning the ARL kids place from 12-2:30pm. Feel free to stop in and visit us. The Pet Step is located at the Hillsborough County 4-H Center, New Boston Fairgrounds, 15 Hilldale Lane off Route 13 in New Boston. There will be over 40 pet-related vendors as well as many activities, including an agility course, a police K-9 demo, face painting and kids activities, canine good citizen testing, microchipping, nail trimming, and many more fun activities for you and your dog. Friendly dogs are welcome and will be everywhere! Yes, Miller qualifies as a friendly dog!
