Peaks for Pigs

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

Friends of Ironwood Pig Sanctuary are preparing for our annual Peaks for Pigs event. As one of the largest animal sanctuaries in Arizona, Ironwood Pig Sanctuary is home to about 600 rescued pot bellied pigs.

The sanctuary is dedicated to eliminating the suffering of pot bellied pigs in Arizona and surrounding states by promoting spaying and neutering, assisting owners and other sanctuaries, and providing a permanent home in a safe, nurturing environment for those that are abandoned, abused, neglected, or unwanted.

Peaks for Pigs is an annual event in which registered hikers have friends and family members sponsor them for hiking. Participants have from now – April 12, 2014 to hike and raise money. On Saturday, April 12th, we will host a culminating event to gather funds, raffle prizes, and celebrate the good work of the sanctuary.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
