Thank you for visiting my page and supporting the Kayam Farm at Pearlstone.

Kayam is an organic educational farm located at the Pearlstone Center in Reisterstown, MD. In just two years Kayam has educated almost 6,000 participants of all ages and backgrounds. The farm gives participants a powerful, fun way to learn crucial lessons in health, community, and culture. Kayam models and inspires social and ecological responsibility by engaging the community in hands-on agricultural education. The farm has 5 acres of organically grown vegetables, culinary & medicinal herbs, fruit trees, vineyards, berries & asparagus, grains, and a greenhouse. In addition to the farm, the Kayam program also includes interpretive trails, wildlife habitat and ecosystem restoration efforts, and a plethora of community education workshops, programs, and volunteer opportunities. Kayam helps reconnect people with their food and with the earth.
