Welcome to my attempt to help destroy the terrible disease that has affected so many.  I have dusted off my running shoes and will be competing in the City of Pittsburgh Marathon on May 3, 2009.

My personal inspiration is the loss of my mother to cancer in 1993.  During her short battle I saw strength, courage and determination that was truly amazing.  My competition is not against other runners or the clock, but a battle to raise as much money as possible in order to help fund research to end cancer!
