I have been chosen to be a part of the Special Olympics Delegation for Texas at the 2010 National Games to be held in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 18 -23, 2010. I will participate in the sport of Athletics (Track and Field). My events will be 100 meter dash, turbo javelin throw, and the 4 x 100 meter relay race.

As part of team Texas I must raise funds to offset the cost of going to the games. Each athlete attending the games is required to raise at least $600. We are also encouraged to raise more money, if possible, to help offset other costs of this wonderful event. I have set my goal at $1,600.
