National Brain Tumor Society

She Walks With Angels

She Walks With Angels

On March 19, 2006 I will be participating in the Los Angeles Marathon to raise money and awareness for the National Brain Tumor Foundation. According to NBTF 100 children and adults are diagnosed with a brain tumor every day in the United States. My family and I have been personnally affected by this and I am using this experience as motivation for this event.

My mom was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme in October of 2003. She battled bravely for seven months before she succumbed to the disease. Anyone who knew my mom knows how devastating this disease can be. Family and friends of those affected know how helpless you can feel. This fundraiser gives you an opportunity to feel like you are doing something to help.

Your support would greatly appreciated via a monetary donation per mile (26.2 miles). Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.
