Hello and welcome to Laura and Mike's fundraising site!

On Sunday, November 22, we will be participating in the Philadelphia Half Marathon.  This will be Mike's first and Laura's third half marathon!!  We have been training very hard over the last few months, putting in weekly long runs and various cross-training programs.

To help us keep motivated, we've decided to raise money for our favorite organization, the Humane Society of the United States.  We are proud to support an organization that seeks to protect the welfare of all animals, including pets, wildlife, marine mammals, farm animals, animals in research and horses.

P.S. In the picture, Laura is holding Brownie, a 4-year old long-haired male tuxedo with a big bushy tail, and Mike is holding Peanut, a diabetic, 9 1/2 year old short-haired male tabby.  The boys don't get along too well, as you can see by this picture -- seconds after the photo snapped they started wrestling!
