This year I will be participating in my 3rd Bloomington High School South Dance Marathon on April 7th 2012! Everything we do and all the time we spend organizing this event is to benefit Riley Children's Hospital and to spread awareness of all the terrific kids in Riley's care.

From 6:00 pm to Midnight on April 7th, students from South come out and stand for those who can't.  Remembering at all times that it is For The Kids that have been, in any way, involved with Riley Hospital. The marathon has become so popular with younger kids in our community that we actually added a 3 hour carnival before the marathon just for elementary and middle school kids.  In its third year, the "Because We Care Fair" has been a huge success.  I invite you to share in the fair with us from 1-4 pm on April 7th and assure you that it is a great way to witness the amazing impact Riley has on so many people in so many communities. I will be there on my feet dancing, playing games, listening to music, but most importantly spending time with our Riley families and sharing their amazing stories.

We will never be able to completely understand just how many families Riley Hospital has touched, but it is truly gratifying to see how generous people can be when given the opportunity to support Riley Children's Hospital.
