Donating through this website is simple, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. The Boston Partners Power Lunch Read-a-Thon is a great way to encourage reading and learning for young children in the Boston area.

Through the power lunch program, we volunteers spend an hour a week reading to, and with, a child from first, second or third grade. This is my first year volunteering for this program and I've been paired up with a second grade boy named Liam. Liam is a great young man and the program has been a lot of fun for both of us. The goal of power lunch is to help make reading a positive and fun experience. It’s a great program which the teachers, students and volunteers all enjoy and benefit from.

Any donation would be appreciated as it helps to keep this program running and, in turn, helps many young kids develop a joy and appreciation for reading and learning!
