Hi,

  It is that time of year again...Valerie, Maisy and I are participating in the 2012 Run/Walk for the Animals to benefit the Harrisburg Area Humane Society on Saturday May 5th. The cutie pie in the above picture is "Joey Cosmo" we adopted him from a local farm in September. We adopted him 4 months after my beloved cat, Bilbo, passed away. Bilbo was my "baby" before I had my real baby, Valerie. I had the joy of being his "mom" for 16 years. Our other cat, Foudini, was less than thrilled about his "little brother" but now they are buddies. Maisy is a "bossy big sister" and tries to herd Joey on a regular basis. If she can behave, Maisy will be walking with us this year. She is very protective of her family and does not like it when other dogs talk to us!
