I am a proud momma of three beautiful children, Bethany, Breanne and Branden.  Being their mother has been the most wonderful gift in my life.  Unfortunately on 4/27/02 at the age of 15 Branden passed away from a skateboarding accident.  This day our lives changed and MISSing Branden is what we do daily. 

I have been able to find a way to continue to mother my son by working with The MISS Foundation as a support group facilitator.  We help others families after the loss of a child at any age from any cause. 

On Mothers Day, May 8, 2011 we will walk in memory of all the children who have died too soon.   I spend my time sharing my grief walk that I have been on for the last 9 years in the hope that it will give grieving parents the courage and strength to know that they are not alone.  On this day, Mothers day 2011.  I will walk with Branden, remembering him as the fun, humerous, loving young man he was and wondering who he would be today.  I will walk in his shoes and I will MISS him, I will love him and I will be so proud I am his mother.
