15th Annual Great Minnesota Stationary Bike Race
Hi Everyone~
Wow time flies - It's that time of year again. Time for the Great Minnesota Stationary Bike Race! If you have supported me in the past- welcome back! If you want to know what the bike race is and why it is so important, please read on.
Currently, United Cerebral Palsy of Minnesota provides a variety of services including: information and referral (your calls would be directed to me); public education and workshops; financial assistance to families or individuals who wish to purchase assistive technology to improve independence and quality of daily living; in addition, we also have an augmentative communication device lending library. We are also hoping to expand our services in the near future.
As someone who has cerebral palsy, I can personally relate to many of the questions, issues and frustrations that come across my desk on a daily basis. I know how important it is to have support and resources available within the community. In order for United Cerebral Palsy of Minnesota to continue serving the community, we need your help! We are having our 15th annual Great Minnesota Stationary Bike Race on February 4, 2012.
Participants in this event will be riding stationary bikes or buzzing along a track in their wheelchair (that will be me) to raise money for United Cerebral Palsy of Minnesota.
Would you be willing to support me with a donation, as I support United Cerebral Palsy of Minnesota by being a part of this important and fun event? I hope that you will consider making a donation. If you wish, you can make a donation right through this site. It's simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.
I thank you, and I know the rest of the staff in our office send a "Thank you" for all you've done--and will do--to help men, women and children with disabilities across Minnesota and the United States live their lives to the fullest.
Please feel free to send this page to anyone you know who might be interested in donating too. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Michele Nickerson
