Michele Schultz's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I don't usually ask for donations from friends or family. However, The Lupus Foundation of America is one foundation I have continued my involvement with and feel strongly about. That is because my sister, Sara Walter, has Lupus. I am asking you to support us in our annual Walk for Lupus on September 26th at 9:00 a.m. at the West Central Community Center.
You can support our team by donating to this website or simply joining us at the walk to educate yourself about this terrible disease. All of the funds raised will stay in the Pacific Northwest.
Lupus is a autoimmune disease which causes painful imflammation of the joints. My sister also has an overlapping syndrome called Sjogren's. She has never been in remission. She is very positive about her disease. She finished college even though she was quite ill. She is currently working full time and is active in the local Lupus support group. Her courage is an inspiration to me.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Sara also has an online fundraising page that you may like to see: http://www.firstgiving.com/sarawalter.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thank you-
Michele and Joey
