Interactive Business Systems, Inc. welcomes you to
IBS Rwanda....Changing the World One Village at a Time
Introduced in July 2006 by Interactive Business Systems, Inc., IBS Rwanda is a three-year, highly effective program designed to help children and families affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty. The village is home to 80 families (221 adults; 300 children under 18) who are currently receiving medical, nutritional, educational and psychosocial help, while at the same time participating in income-generating activities that will enable them to be self-sufficient within three years.
To accomplish these goals, IBS has partnered with FXB USA, Inc., the non-profit organization that has developed this "village model" program through years of work with children around the world that have been orphaned by AIDS. Our village program is staffed by three aid workers trained by FXB to provide counseling, training and the support needed by these families.
One of these families belongs to Erik. After his first wife died at an early age, leaving him with four girls, Erik remarried and had three more children. He also takes care of his 95 year-old mother and his nephew, whose mother died of AIDS. Living in extreme poverty, Erik's family was malnourished and considered extremely vulnerable.
Thanks to IBS Rwanda, Erik's family was chosen to be a part of the village project. After receiving food, he was given seeds and tools to cultivate his land. He chose pig-rearing as an income generating activity, and has successfully made enough money to renovate his house and allow his children to attend school.
We at IBS are so proud of the progress of our villagers. IBS Rwanda is working....but we still need your help!
Please consider making a donation to this worthwhile initiative. 100% of your donation goes to IBS Rwanda; and IBS will match your donation dollar for dollar.
Together we can change the world...one village at a time. Thank you for your support.
