Thank you for visiting my Run for Autism funraising page!
Autism is a lifelong challenge for those who are diagnosed, and a life-changing challenge for their families. While there is no known cause and a cure is not yet on the horizon, research provides hope and the promise of a better quality of life for those affected by autism.
WHY I RUN: I face autism everyday. I am blessed to work with the most incredible and isnpirational children I have ever met. There is no other way to put it: these kids changed my life. Autism changed my life. I will forever be commited to helping children and families affected by Autism acheieve a better quality of life.
I will be running the Philadelphia Marathon on November 18th, 2012
This will be the second race I have run for Run for Autism and my first out of state marathon! This race will make me an offical coast to coast marathoner.
I dedicate this race to: JIMMY, Coby Bird, Maggie "Blue" Rodriguez, and all my beautiful kiddos at The Kendall School.
ALL proceeds will go to the Organization for Autism Research, a national non-profit organization that funds research and resources for individuals diagnosed with autism and their families. Families who have children with autism face many challenges. Your pledge of support will help individuals whose struggles exist outside the spotlight of society. Please know that every penny raised will go directly to OAR. I provide my own funding for hotel, transportation, etc.
