From September 12 to September 25, I will participate in a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa to raise funds and awareness for children with AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Our "Climb Up Kilimanjaro So Kids Can Grow Up" team consists of 8 people from around the US.  Every participant has a minimum fund-raising goal of $10,000, benefiting the 501(c)(3) American Foundation for Children with AIDS.

This is the chance of a lifetime. The climb is something I've always dreamed of doing and this a great way to remind myself and others that there are many around the world that are not as fortunate. My life has been full of laughter and to realize how lucky I am makes me want to extend my hand to others that aren’t as lucky.
