Hi,

I am asking your help in raising funds to provide our schools with the ability to purchase essential tools to help in the education and development of our future generations.  One of tose tools is the SMART Board.

SMART Boards™ are interactive computer whiteboards which utilize the vast array of internet resources across all subjects to engage kids in learning, improve test scores and take traditional teaching to a whole new level. Already HEF has provided 27 boards to Hingham schools, and the feedback has been tremendous from teachers and students.  Having the ability to provide tools and programs that engage our children in their education is a tremendous gift.

To help raise these funds I am running the Boston Marathon with a number provided by the Hingham Education Foundation ( HEF). HEF is a non-profit whose mission is to enrich the quality of public education programs and instruction in Hingham schools, with programs and technology that the school budget cannot provide.
