As you may know, I am a board member for Freshwater Future (formerly the Great Lakes Aquatic Habitat Network and Fund).  Freshwater Future actively supports restoration and public education efforts in Canada and the United States to protect the Great Lakes for future generations.

Every year the staff and board conduct a fundraiser walking, cycling and paddling each of the lakes. This weekend I will be cycling a portion of the Lake Ontario lakeshore in support of the group's efforts.
