Thank you for taking the time to visit my donating page!  I am taking part in a charity walk for a cure for Lupus.  Lupus is an acute and chronic (lifelong) autoimmune disease in which the immune system is unbalanced, causing inflammation and tissue damage to virtually every organ system in the body. November 2008 marked 50 years since a drug has been approved for the treatment of lupus.  Help me in my efforts to raise money for better treatments and ultimately a cure for this chronic and painful disease.  My fundraising goal is $1000 dollars.  A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.
