STRAIN FOR THE BRAIN 5K RUN/WALK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in 2005. After 2 surgeries, 6 weeks of radiation combined with chemo, then another year of cycling chemo, there has been no change in the "hole in my brain" from where the surgeons removed the bulk of my tumor. I'm very fortunate, and credit my family (including Jay, and the Molloy's and Joll's), and other family, many close friends, and many of my coworkers who have been amazingly supportive.
I'm going to do the 5K RUN again this year on May 14th in Milwaukee on the Lakefront, and hope you'll support me (or my team) with a generous donation if you have the means. Please feel free to join our team (GI Associates) and run or walk if you're in town!
A brain tumor support group friend DON SHAVE is not able to participate this year, but he is an over 13 year survivor of a glioblastoma. He has so many friends who have helped him during his struggle, that he has also asked any of his close family and friends to donate as well. I'll keep him in the loop on any donations you make in honor of Don, who is truly an inspiration to all of us, just like a humble (yet eloquent, maybe a bit blustery?) big brother! Thanks to Don and his Friends/Family.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
