As we kick off a new year of 2012, I am making a decision to help raise money for the Special Olympics of Georgia by jumping into the ice cold waters of Lake Lanier in February!
I am asking for your support as I prepare for this winter dip! . One February 18th, I will be joining the other Plungers around the state by taking the plunge for the athletes of Special Olympics GA. The goal of helping those who are mentally or physically challenged, goes beyond the athletic field. It is a gift that supports our Special Olympic athletes living a life beyond their dreams!
In a nutshell, Polar Plunge participants collect pledges in exchange for the opportunity to jump in the icy waters of Lake Lanier. All proceeds collected will benefit the Special Olympics. Please help our team make a significant difference in the lives of our olympians.
