Your generous donation will be going to a really worthwhile cause, which is helping to conserve the lives of many wild and endangered creatures as well as keeping one of the largest indigenous forests in East Africa intact.  We have already completed 260 kms of fence around the Aberdare Mountain Range – but there are still 90 kms to go. 

   The fence not only protects the wildlife but also makes an enormous difference to thousands of poor people who have in the past suffered from marauding wildlife (from porcupines to elephants) raiding their crops.  Word has spread to other

local communities about the benefits of the fence and we have been asked if we could increase the fence to include Kipipiri Mountain with an elephant corridor to the Aberdares, so that the elephants can migrate as they please without wiping out a household’s livelihood en route.  We are of course delighted to oblige and

so our target has been extended yet again. 

    Our team have raised more than $350,000 towards the fence over the past 16 years and we also help the cause by recycling waste plastic into plastic fence posts for the Aberdare Fence.
