Thank you for you donation, Grandma Mimi!
Dear Friends and Family,
Whether it was a preemie baby finally given the okay to go home after months in the NICU, or a child who thankfully recovered from an accident, cancer treatment or severe illness, I count every blessing when I am allowed to shake a hand, get a hug, or snuggle with a little baby as I work at Ronald McDonald House Charities.
These families are able to stay together and close to their children because the Ronald McDonald House is here for them.
I am organizing the Red Shoes Run & Pop Tab Pandemoninum benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire where I work as Development Director. The event is April 10th. While I won't actually be able to run or walk the actual 5K, I feel confident I have already logged the mileage just pacing on the phone getting the details in line!
RMHC provides comfort and a place to stay for parents with critically ill or injured children. Our 10-bedroom House offers all the qualities of home--beds, showers, laundry room, and a home-cooked meal. The House operates at nearly 100% occupancy, 365 days a year.
Here are some suggested donations, contributions at any and all levels are appreciated.
$65--hosts a family for 1 night
$130--hosts a family for 2 nights
This website is safe and secure, however, if you prefer to send a check, please make it out to RMHC and mail it to:

PPS I raise money in honor that Truman is healthy now, that Lily is too, in honor of my nieces and nephews and cousins, my cousin's children and my children's friends...and my prayers for all the families to leave us with healthy and strong kidaroos!
