CURE Childhood Cancer is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research and through support of patients and their families.
CURE is a non-profit organization, founded in 1975 by parents who knew firsthand the heartbreak and fear of having a child with cancer. They set out to improve the odds for these kids and help their families face the challenge. Due to research, much progress has been made since that time. The survival rate for children with cancer has increased dramatically to its current rate of nearly eight out of ten. Best of all, researchers feel they will discover a cure in our lifetime. Until then, there is much to be done, and that is where CURE comes in. We believe childhood cancer can be cured.
