Every year I run this race in an effort to raise funds and awaress about Huntington's Disease. My mother Rosie passed away after living with HD for over 15 years. Although she is not with me in person her spirit and tenacity are!! She was a fighter and a force to be reckoned with! Since her passing in 2007 I have watch many of my friends in this growing HD community start their battle with HD. They are not alone in the fight as long as I can run...I will. Every dollar raised brings us a step closer to a cure and treatment!! There is nothing to cure or slow down the progression of this disease. I have siblings at risk and numerous friends. Just recently we lost Kathleen Edwards who was only 9 years old lose her life to HD. Enough is Enough!! I NEED YOUR HELP!! PLEASE DONATE TODAY...ANY AMOUNT WILL HELP!!
