Mitch Braddock's Fundraising Page
Hello. Thank you for taking time to find out about the "That Others May Live Foundation" and what I, with the help of Dadecity Motocross, intend on doing to raise money for the families of our fallen warriors. We have set up a 12 hour 10 team motocross relay race. Still interested? Please keep reading.
What is the "That Others May Live Foundation"?
The foundation awards scholarships to the children of men and women killed during training, civil peacetime missions (such as Hurricane Katrina relief efforts), or combat missions while serving in an Air Force Rescue unit. This fund raiser focuses on their families and will hopefully provide some peace of mind to all rescue warriors in harm's way. We are funding all of the expenses, so 100% of your contributation will go to the "That Others May Live Foundation".
Who am I?
I am an Air Force Pararescueman, and have been since day one over 19 years ago. I have been assigned to operational Rescue Squadrons, Special Tactics Squadrons and Training Squadrons. Currently I am in a operational Rescue Squdaron. I have seen firsthand how a foundation like this helps a family after a tragedy. I've always wanted to help and now I know how.
Why motocross? I am an avid rider and racer and have been for over 30 years. So outside of my family motocross is my favorite way to spend my free time.
How can you help?
You can help me by making a monetary contribution, pure and simple. I like to think of it being tied to the laps my team intends to ride. We are putting in hours of training to prepare for this, so you can count on getting your money's worth with a "by the lap" sponsorship. Ten cents, 50 cents, $1 or more a lap will add up. We are shooting for 200 total laps (Visit DadecityMX.com for event info). Or if you choose you can donate a lump sum. You can donate before the event or wait until I post the results. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also tax deductable. This is an easy way for you to support warriors who volunteer to give thier life to save another living by the search and rescue motto... "These things we do, that others may live".
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Mitch Braddock
