Did you know? Congenital heart disease is the world's most common major birth defect, affecting one in every 120 children? Ninety percent of those newborns are in areas of the world where appropriate medical care is inadequate or unavailable. Rheumatic fever & other infectious diseases continue to damage the hearts of millions of youth throughout much of Asia, Africa & Latin America.

 Throughout his life, Michael Jackson gave millions of dollars to children's charities, donated toys and necessities to hospitals and orphanages, paid for lifesaving operations and was a consistent and loving spokesperson for child welfare across the globe. He asked us, his fans, and all the people of of the world to love the children as our own, to care for them and to protect and brighten their futures.

One of his dearest wishes was the creation of Michael Jackson Children's Hospitals. While we as a fan community continue to work toward that and other beautiful goals as part of his legacy, let us continue looking into our hearts and at the world through the lens of love. Let us see how and where we can help a child today, right now. It is with this belief that MajorLovePrayer.org and our friends have begun fundraising for Children's Heartlink. We also find it wonderfully fitting to the global prayer each month on the 25th to send out a major love ... "healing hearts worldwide"! Thank you and much L O V E! ♥

Children's HeartLink is an international nonprofit organization founded in 1969.  Charity Navigator has given them its highest rating of 4 Stars. Children's HeartLink works in partnership with health care centers in underserved regions of the world to assist with heart operations, diagnosis, prevention and other lifesaving equipment and supplies. They additionally work with teams of medical volunteers who provide training and education to health partners and treatment for cardiac disease in local children. They currently support partner hospitals & programs in Brazil, China, Ecuador, India, Malaysia, South Africa, Ukraine & Vietnam. 

With your help, Children's HeartLink can continue to build sustainable programs that will help children around the world for years to come.

By giving to Children's HeartLink, you're giving a child a second chance.

$2,500 will provide a lifesaving heart operation for a child in need.
$1,000 will finance essential medical supplies for an operation.
$500 will supply critical training materials for cardiac nurses.
$100 will pay to diagnose a child with heart disease.
$25 will deliver a month’s supply of preventative medication for acquired heart disease to one child.
