2nd annual Simple Harvest for Simple Gifts

          This spring the our family planted two acres of delicious sweet corn.   

Our fields are ripe and ready for harvest.  This is an opportunity to encourage others and raise funds for Operation Christmas Child all while selling this corn at local farmers' markets, in neighborhoods and collecting donations online through this fundraising page now through Mid August.   

Operation Christmas Child is a nondenominational ministry of Samaritans Purse.   Since1993 they have been traveling the world delivering gift filled shoe boxes to children in over 105 different countries.   The children that receive these boxes are living in desperate situations such as famine, disease, poverty, or have become victims of war.  When a child receives this gift it comes also with the  message of hope and the good news of  God's love.   

We praise God for the blessings that has enabled this project to grow into this our second year.
