Hand biking in the New York Marathon on Nov. 2, 2008, is a an adventure and  a great opportunity for me to compete as a disabled spinal cord injury paraplegic. I am paralyzed from the breast bone down. I cannot bear weight at all. This will be my first airplane trip since my accident in Jan 2001.  I have had fun training with my husband, Bob, and my Achilles friends.
