My sister Jamie and I will be helping my Mom and Uncle Bill in the Chef of the House Challenge to help raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities! We are so excited!! As many of you know we totally like beat our goal for the 5k red shoe run and we so totally ran in the kiddie run and well we walked and ran a little in the 5k but we crossed the 5k finish line with our Dad!!! Dear Friends and Family,

My lovely ladies are at it again. I am so proud of them and all they have done over the summer for their charities! They continue to amaze me! Katie has requested that instead of gifts this year from her friends for her birthday that they make a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities. I was amazed and thrilled!! Jamie the 4yr  not so much!!! :o) hahaha

The Chef of the House Challenge is similar to an Iron Chef competition with a fundraising twist. We all know times are tough and are appreciative of any size donation. Please do not think any amount is too small to give. We thank you for being gracious enough to visit our fundraising page!

The girls have set their goal for $455.00 this year. It costs $65 a night to host a family at RMHC and all we require at times is a $10 a night charge to offset some costs and some still cannot pay. We are happy to say that nobody is ever turned away because of their inability to pay. RMHC is a home away from home for these families with their ailing and sometimes terminally ill children. We provide them with all of the amenities and comforts of a home: hot cooked meals, showers, bedrooms, laundry rooms, living rooms, tv rooms, play rooms for siblings, toiletries, towels, linens...etc
