The 6-Hour Ride for a Reason is an exciting solo or team indoor cycling marathon that raises money for the 850+ athletes of Special Olympics Vermont.
yes. 6 exciting hours. on our butts. peadaling excitingly.
not outside .... inside, on stationary bikes with thumping music and food and thumping music and people. Did I mention there will be music and frivolity? and food
can you guess which one of us is excited about what?
Please help support my ride on Sat. March 19th, 2011 at the Champlain Valley Exposition, by making a small donation. Anything helps!
To be clear, we are each riding 3 exciting hours, not 6 each.... and yes every donation will help towards our minimum goal of $300
how about $5/hour?
Special Olympics is founded of the belief that people with intellectual disabilities can with proper instruction and encouragement, learn, enjoy, and benefit from participation in individual and team sports. Special Olympics believes that consistent training is essential to the development of sports skills, measuring progress, and providing incentive for a person's growth.
Johnny is competing in the winter events this year for the Special Olympics. We are both really excited for him to tap into this community. And to ride those stationary bikes.
