Hi, my name is Penny Lane. YES, I AM NAMED AFTER THE BEATLE’S SONG. And for good reason -I am the “Lead Beagle” for this year’s Beastie Ball titled An Evening with the Beagles. I am so happy to be attending the party, but I need your Help!

It seems like only Yesterday when I was found as a stray on the streets of Lexington. I was frightened, cold, and alone. A nice person picked me up and took me to the Lexington Humane Society (LHS) where they knew I would receive the attention I so desperately needed. And they were right! The nice folks at LHS immediately diagnosed my demadex mange and began treatment.   I’m already feeling better and I love my “bubble baths”. Recovery will be a long process but, thanks to the wonderful foster care program at LHS, I will have a place to stay while I get better. 

I wanted you to hear my story, as there are so many other animals just like me that need special care and attention. As I’m sure you can Imagine, medical treatment can be very expensive. The other animals and I are counting on the kindness and generosity from people like you to help. Don’t Let Me Down!
