Help Abe, Moe, and their senior friends! DONATE NOW!
Hello everyone! Abe and I wanted to THANK YOU for your support these last couple of weeks. My brother, myself, and the more than 400 animals at LHS truly appreciate all your help with Mutt Strut!
Abe and I were recently rescued from an abandoned house and have been making a speedy recovery over the last few weeks. I am pleased to say that Abe and I completed the entire 2k walk at Mutt Strut and our foster mom and sisters only had to carry us a little bit of the way. Despite the dreary weather, two and four-legged friends had a fun morning. It felt amazing to be surrounded by so many supporters and friends - even Mayor Gray wanted to meet us!
Currently, we are a little more than $3,000 short of reaching our goal. YOU CAN HELP by sharing our story and making a donation to our page today - every dollar will make a difference! With your help, we can continue to raise money for other LHS animals like us who deserve a second chance.
A big thank you for your support!
Be sure to view the great photos from this year's Mutt Strut.
Most Sincerely,
Moe & Abe
Don't forget, we are still trying to raise pledges to help give other senior animals a chance at their forever home.
Please check out the video of some of the other senior animals here at the Lexington Humane Society, and please donate to our fundraising page to help us and all of the other animals who count on LHS for a second chance.
**10% of the animals at LHS are senior animals and many have been waiting for their forever home for months. They have minimal health issues and are sweet and happy animals. Please make a donation today and if you are interested in adoption please visit our Adoptions Center at 1600 Old Frankfort Pike.
