On Mothers Day, May 13th, 2012 the world lost one of the most extraordinary people this charity was ever bless to know. Alan Moskowitz passed away after an ncredible battle with cancer today.

Alan, Helene and the entire Moskowitz family are in our thoughts and prayers. Words alone cannot begin to tell you the incredible love, tenacity and kindness that Alan demonstrated in every aspect of his life.

Without the love and support of the Moskowitz family for over a third of a century, we would not have a potential cure today for RP and Macular Degeneration.

Alan was a great father, a loving husband, a leader in the business community and an incredibly generous and patient charity supporter throughout his life.

The world owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to the Moskowitz family for their contributions to fighting blindness. Please pray for the family during this time of loss and sorrow.
