My name is Eric King and for the past three years I have proudly served as a police officer for the Atlanta Police Department.

For me, the call of a police officer is a passion and desire that I share with other local peace officers who constantly put their lives on the line to protect law abiding citizens like you and your loved ones. Unfortunately, at the end of the day every officer does not make it home and many leave behind family members and loved ones in the wake.

As a way to honor their bravery and help fallen police officer families, I have decided to join the “Police Unity Tour.” This is a 300 plus mile cycling expedition in an attempt to raise sponsorship and awareness.  I write this letter as a personal petition for your help as I can’t do it alone.

Preceding this letter you will be introduced to the “Police Unity Tour” and the steps needed to secure your contribution.  In closing thank you so much for your time and support as we embark on this 310 mile salute to bravery together.
