Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
My father has loved the outdoors his whole life. He loved working in his garden year round in California. The last few years, he gradually lost the ability to go outdoors and enjoy tending his plants and lawn. Slowly his lungs have been failing. He's had to rely more and more on suppemental oxygen as his lung capacity decreased. I am training for the 2012 Lifetime Chicago Triathlon and will be racing for him and the many others who suffer from Ideopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
The mission of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) is to help find a cure for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), advocate for the pulmonary fibrosis community both locally and in Washington, D.C., promote disease awareness, and provide a compassionate environment for patients and their families.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
