Nadia Tejeda-Colon's Fundraising Page
Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. It is a real honor for me to be running my first Boston Marathon during the spring of 2010. I am also very proud of this endeavor and wanted to let you know that I am running the marathon as a member of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting and its "Women Running For Women" program, designed to empower Latina professionals while giving back to some of Boston's most important non-profits.
I am supporting an incredible non-profit organization, the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. This organization has long history of research and caring for patients suffering from vision, hearing and related impairments. I am running especially to support their clinical research department whose mission is to prevent, treat and find the cure for disorders of the eye, ear, nose, throat, head and neck. I believe they are doing some amazing things and are really focusing on allowing the deaf to hear and the blind to see once again. They are also responsible for helping many people avoid unnecessary surgery that could have cost them their hearing or vision.
I am asking to join me in this amazing cause by contributing with a monetary donation. I know we're in rough times and there are literally millions of causes worthy of your hard earned cash. I am hoping that you can join me in supporting Mass Eye and Ear.
Please know that NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL - and certainly, no donation is too large.
Thank you for your time and support during this worthy cause and personal goal!
Sincerely,
Nadia Tejeda Colon
