Junior Achievement is an organization that teaches students in grades K through 12 financial literacy and work place readiness. This organization focuses on educating our children on life skills and how to succeed in a global economy. In addition to the curriculum and programs they offer at local schools, they have recently opened JA World in South Florida and will be servicing over 50,000 5th and 8th grade Broward County students at the facility starting this year.  The goal of this program is to inspire and motivate them to learn through real activities and make actual decisions as they assume their roles of proprietors, civic leaders and consumers while in the setting of a "mini city".  The students will not only learn the process of free enterprise but also concepts that are vital to success in the workplace such as budgeting, banking and customer service.
