Hello again and thanks for coming back to my fundraising page for a third year!

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to supprot my fundraising efforts.

I am Logan Coakley and I am just getting started on raising money for the DSAGR 5K & family festival. This will be my third year fundraising. I was top fundraiser the first year and came in second place last year. My Mom works really hard for this cause and it is even better this year with all the profits staying in the local chapter to better the lives of people with down syndrome.

I am now 5 years old and have gotten to be such a big boy. My favorite things to do are to swing on the swing set, watch Toy Story movies and to go to the gym with Mom and go swiming. I got a life jacket for my birthday so now we all go in the deep pool and play for hours. I have taught myself how to kick under water to get where I want to go and to lay face down in the water. I am sad when it is time to go home.

I have come along way in this past year and just started back to school to learn more. I love getting on the school bus and look forward to waiting for it in the mornings, constantly looking down the road till I see it coming. I love my teachers and love to play at the water table. I am considered to still be non verbal but I have my way of letting everyone know what I want if unable to sign. I do use some signs and the picture book to comunicate my wants and I think we do well.

Again I cannot say it enough that Logan brings us so much joy. I hear all the time that he is blessed to have us, but in my opinion we are the ones that are blessed. In the short 5 years that he has been with us he has shown us that love is unconditional. Everyday we thank the good lord for sending him our way.
