My husband David has Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, a debilitating, genetic lung disease. 

Again this year, my friends and family are participating in this humbling experience with the American Lung Association Annual Bike Trek, travellng 160 miles in 3 days (Oct. 2-4) to help raise funds for Alpha-1 research.
