Dear Friends,

On October 3rd I will be participating in the The Children's Room Annual Memories Walk.  The Children's Room provides support to grieving children, teens and their families.  As most of you know this is a mission near and dear to my heart.  Twenty years ago my first husband died suddenly leaving a 6 and 4 year old.  I was 5 months pregnant.  I know first hand how important it is to have support and understanding when someone you love dies.  

I have been involved in this organization since 2004, first as a volunteer, then as a staff member and now a co-chair of the board.  The Children"s Room does incredibly important work, helping children, teens and families go on living and loving fully after the death of a loved one.  I am constantly amazed and humbled by the commitment and dedication of our staff and volunteers who provide a safe space for children to bring their feelings, hopes and dreams and learn they are not alone on their journey.  

Services are provided free of charge.  We rely on primarily on individual donations to support our services and programs.

Please help The Chidren's Room to continue to provide its critical services by supporting me in this year's memory walk.  A donation in any amount would help us maintain our programs and further our goal to ensure that no child grieves alone.  If you are able, please give what you can.
