I had the unique experience this winter to visit South East Asia for three weeks. In addition to being transported by the physical beauty of the landscape and warmth of its people, I could not ignore the plight of women. It is very clear to me that The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center must survive for reasons beyond our needs here.

Women all over the world suffer from discrimination in the form of ambivalence and neglect. Sexual violence left to its own evolution in the growth of violence worldwide cripples our universal future.

Please face this epidemic with me and with BARCC, and help us to keep this issue on the forefront, and to keep setting the standard for education and services for rape victims everywhere.
