My daughter, Jackie, was diagnosed with Epilespy at the age of five, and is now a wonderful 17-year-old girl.  Although she has been on numerous medications, has a vagus nerve stimulator and has had many hospital stays and tests to alleviate her seizures, she still lives with them every day.  After her first grand mal seizure this past spring, she decided to organize this walk - the first ever for Western Massachusetts - to raise funding, awareness and hopefully....some day....a cure.  Our family will walk in honor of Jackie's courage and for all of those who live with this condition and their families.
