The past year has been a whirlwind for Jackie and our family.  Through our connection with the Epilepsy Foundation of MA/RI/NH/ME, we have learned so much and been able to take many steps forward in the fight against epilepsy.  Most importantly, Jackie has had so many wonderful opportunites that have been created through our connection and friendship with the staff of the Foundation.  Please visit her page to see some of the exciting things that have come about in her life since experiencing her first tonic clonic seizure in March 2009.  While that was a devastating occurence, there have been so many positives that have happened for her because she has been able to find her voice.  She has become an advocate, not only for herself, but for the 3 million other Americans who are dealing with this condition. 

The first Western Massachusetts Walk for the Epilepsy Foundation of MA/RI (and now NH & ME, as well) raised over $18,000.  We are hoping to surpass that goal this year and rely on you to help us do that!  Thank you for supporting epilepsy advocacy, education and research.  It means the world to Jackie, and to us, to imagine a life without seizures for her and those just like her.
