Please help me celebrate my 50th birthday (Sept 17)! God has richly blessed me over the years and I'd love to acknowledge, commemorate, and celebrate it by helping to bless others! So rather than throwing a party, or going on a trip, or indulging in some luxury to soothe the pangs of turning 50 - I’m hoping that all who want to help me celebrate will make a donation to Bethany Christian Services through this website. Bethany does so much to help those less fortunate in the world, both here in the U.S. and many other impoverished countries. Most known for their work in adoption and foster care, Bethany goes far beyond this.
1) I am blessed with 2 beautiful daughters - for this I would like to support Bethany’s Crisis Pregnancy Counseling; helping women to choose life instead of abortion.
2) I am blessed with a wonderful home and food stocked in the pantry - for this I would like to support Bethany’s efforts in providing Ethiopians with nutritional food and Haitians with safe homes.
3) I am blessed with a healthy family, not to be taken for granted - for this I would like to support Bethany’s dedication to finding homes for children with physical and mental challenges.
4) I am blessed with a great job and wonderful benefits (at Bethany) - for this I would like to support Bethany’s efforts in Ethiopia where they train women to sew and knit so they can sell garments in local markets, to support their family.
5) I am blessed with a wonderful husband, who has continued to be by my side for better or for worse - for this I would like to support Bethany’s Family Preservation programs in several countries, such as, Romania, and Ukraine, where they help families with education, counseling, employment, legal consultations, etc…
6) I am blessed with loving and supportive family and friends - for this I would like to support Bethany’s vision of finding a loving and safe family for every child, through their foster care and adoption services.
7) I am blessed with a strong faith and relationship with my Father God. He has been ever present and faithful throughout my life. Holding me up, keeping me company, guiding me, comforting and supporting me - for this I would like to support Bethany’s Christian presence in the world, esp as Christians find themselves more and more under attack!

Most people want to feel as if they’ve left a positive imprint during their lives; I would love to know that via my 50th birthday celebration I/WE have helped to make a difference in the lives of many of the children and families that Bethany Christian Services supports.
