Natalie & Malloree's Fundraising Page
Well these sisters don't do anything half, I tell you! Natalie, an uncoordinated wanna-be athlete who just isn't a runner, and Malloree, a contagious-positive mother of 2 who has been a runner most of her adult life, have registered for the Chicago Marathon! This is ultimate motivation and (hopefully) the ultimate reward of crossing the finish line in less than 6.5 hours!
We're running on the Iowan's for Africa team through Natalie's home church, Orchard Hill in Cedar Falls. Really, we've won already - Don Williams is our coach - and that couldn't get any better! We're participating through the World Vision team, raising money and awareness for HIV/AIDS in Africa. Some of you know Natalie served on the World Vision Experience: AIDS team this fall - what an amazing and growing time! This race continues our partnership with World Vision and challenges us big time!
We've created this page mainly to let you know we've lost our minds (!!), but also if you feel led to participate with us by donating to World Vision, this page allows you to do that. We'd also appreciate your prayers something fierce!
A little about World Vision:
World Vision works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.
You can support our efforts through Team World Vision by making a one-time tax-deductible donation.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our page!
