Next month, I am running again in the MCM to honor Bart Mohawk's memory and life accomplishments by fundraising for Running Strong.  Bart was tragically taken from us on July 30, 2006, at the age of 21 years, but his memory lives on in the hearts of his family and friends. 

Before I continue, I would like to thank you for your prior support in 2006. With your generousity, our team raised over $11,000.00, which was given to the Pine Ridge Home Heating Program serving needy young families.  Your outpouring of support was absolutely magnificant and very much appreciated by my family, and especially by Bart's mother Annette and his sister Shanelle.

Because of fundraising efforts like this, we not only offer help to those in need, but your support will have a direct positive effect in Indian Country.
