Run, Mommy, run!
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.
I am running the Race for the Cure again this year. It's my goal to run it every year for fifty years or until the cure is found. This is my 4th race.
My fundraising goal is $500 for each year since my initial diagnosis. That means $2,000 this year, friends! And, if my appointment in August goes as I'm hoping and praying that it will, I'll run this year with less cancer in my body than last year. For that, I am insanely grateful.
Thank you for your willingness to support me in this race. As I recall from last year, this site will publish your name along with your contribution. If you wish to remain anonymous, please select that option. I will still know that the contribution came from you. If you wish to write a check, please make it to the Komen Foundation GR Affiliate and get it to me before the race.
The photo at left is of Jane, Paul, and me. Jane has run every race with me. Paul ran with us last year to urge us on (or so he says--perhaps he knew we'd make him wear a pink hat...).
Hundreds of others have "run this race" beside Mark and me over these last years. I run in gratitude for them, too. Thank you. For everything.
