On Sunday, October 7, 2012, I will be running in the Chicago Marathon in order to raise money for Pat's Place Child Advocacy Center of Charlotte. This event will be a challenge but with the support and encouragement of my loved ones as well as the strength in the mission of Pat's Place, I know that 26.2 miles will be well worth the effort.
